What kind of clients does GrowLoop work with?

9/20/2011

Lately, I’ve been meeting a lot of other business owners via social networks and in person as I’m taking relationship building off-line after engaging online (and of course mainly if the other person is local to where we can meet).  I’ve also been at some live networking events.  What everyone keeps asking is, what kind of clients does GrowLoop work with?

Here’s how I’ve been explaining who I work with and what I do for them…

I help creative solopreneurs achieve marketing success!

So what does that tell you.  Well, I am focused on solopreneurs (those running single-person businesses) primarily, but not exclusively.  I also focus on creative people – musicians, writers, designers, artists, filmmakers, photographers and other freelance types looking to better market and promote themselves (I have a spot in my heart for these individuals as I’ve been one since about 1994).  However, I don’t exclusively work with just creative freelancers.  I have years of marketing experience working with small entrepreneurial companies to large corporate businesses, so I’m willing to help those who want to help their business succeed.  Plus, with my life coach training I can help entrepreneurial individuals on a bit more of a holistic basis as entrepreneurial success is often intertwined and balanced by personal success (however you choose to define success).

As I attend these networking events I’m often asked who my ideal clients are so those I’m networking with will know when to pass a prospect my way (likewise, I’m happy to reciprocate the effort).  Here’s a list of clients I’m ideally looking to work with:
  • -driven independent musicians
  • -freelance writers, designers, filmmakers, photographers
  • -visual artists and crafts people
  • -private tutors (I really enjoy helping people who are in business to help others by aiding them to market themselves and grow their business when marketing is typically not the focus of forte).
  • -mompreneurs and typically any home-based entrepreneur
  • -independent coffee shop/cafe owners
  • -young professionals with a few years of work experience looking to make a career change toward becoming an entrepreneur
  • -local small business owners (this could be a variety of businesses)
  • -salon stylists, massage therapists, personal trainers, tax accountants, dentists, private practice attorneys, plumbers, electricians, etc. (pretty much any service business that is based on trusted relationships)
