You know what I’m sick of? I’m sick of mentor coaches and/or marketing “experts” claiming they have the answer to your business’ success if you simply engage their services. They promote themselves as if they have access to some silver bullet answer that will guarantee your success, and you’ve just been missing it this whole time. They act as if there is some secret formula that, if you apply it, all your dreams will come true.
If you haven’t figured it out yet, they know you think that way and are playing off of it to get you to buy from them. Now, I will admit there are some out there that do come across this way, but are actually genuine in there work with their clients. However, my opinion is that most are preying on your hope for a quick-fix solution that will solve your troubles, something you’re not aware of that will lead to your success. The truth is, you have to do the work yourself – that’s the secret to success. (I recommend the book “Do the Work” – Amazon affiliate, if you haven’t already read it) I believe that the answers are inside of you. You know what to do, even though you think you don’t. You simply need help to unlock those answers. You need someone to help you look at things from a different perspective to help you uncover the resources you’ve been looking for, whether that’s getting pointed in the direction of a book that may help inspire you in the area you feel stuck, or someone asking a pointed question that stops you in your tracks making you think through a situation differently to uncover your next steps in the process. No one knows you or your business better than you. The help of a coach or a sales and marketing professional to amp up your business is a tool toward your success. It can be helpful, but it’s up to you how you choose to use and apply that help. No one is going to achieve success for you.
