Recently, I wrote a guest blog post, “Plans and processes for your music success,” for the music website Broadjam.com, which helps independent musicians get more exposure for their music and helps them place their music in TV and films.
Along with my success coaching I’ve had, and continue to have, some reasonable success as an independent musician (going on 18 years worth of experience). As a result of my experience and passion in August 2010 I released a music business book that I wrote and published, The Local Music Journey. The blog post I wrote for Broadjam expands on an idea from my book about deciding why you are pursuing your goal (in the case of the book, to be a professional musician) and thinking through a plan to get there as well as offering some thoughts about practical business processes that may be helpful to consider.
