First off, thanks for joining the email list. I’ll do my best to write posts that are relevant and useful to your entrepreneurial marketing and success. If you have topic ideas that you would like me to cover please don’t hesitate to let me know – I want to be a resource for you. My GrowLoop endeavor is only officially 4 months old, but everyone I’ve met with and spoken to from free consultations for those looking to hire me to actual clients as well as various connections and referral contacts has been extremely encouraging. It’s been exciting to have things off to a solid start. I anticipate it’s only going to get better. Feel free to review my GrowLoop flier about my services, and if you know of anyone who could benefit from learning about what I do, please pass it on. A bit about coaching Coaching is not necessarily a new concept, but coaching as a business service is relatively new, so I wanted to take a moment to explain it a bit to help offer a better understanding… Coaching is a co-creative relationship (meaning coach and client are on equal footing). The coach is not quite like a consultant who you’re paying to have the answers. The value of a coach is their insight into your answers to their questions to help draw out the expertise you likely didn’t even know you had. Coaching is predicated on the idea that you are the expert on you and your business. Let’s face it, who knows your business better than you – you created it! But coaching is a process that can allow you to bust through various barriers that having been holding back your forward progress. This is achieved by having someone question your thought process to help better it, and hold you accountable to the actions you agree to take toward reaching your goals. Thus, you actually take the kind of action, and reach the kind of goals you’ve been wishing you could on your own. GrowLoop specifically will utilize various frameworks to help guide you through the process. The idea is to help break down the bigger picture to focus specifically on various parts of the whole (the whole being your objectives). By doing this you become more self-aware and confident about how to draw out the answers that are within you and put them into action like never before. Feel free to review my GrowLoop Coaching FAQs (link in the Categories section to the right of this blog) GrowLoop approach to digital marketing My philosophy about much of life can be boiled down to communication and relationships. To get things done in this world you need to communicate something to someone else to have the other person understand what you want or need. Once the other person is able to understand what you want or need a shared understanding is created and a relationship is formed (regardless of how meaningful or meaningless that relationship is as a result). However, to create more meaningful relationships there usually has to be deeper shared understanding, which likely will require more on-going communication and better quality communication. As you apply that concept to business and attracting clients you are essentially referring to marketing. Digital marketing refers to a strategy by which you utilize online tools (your website and other online assets, like social media) to integrate those efforts into a unified communication vehicle. A vehicle that promotes the building of business relationships by way of the distributed content (actual communicated messages) and the nature of the tools involved in such a strategy (many online tools including social media promote two-way conversation) to reach a shared understand that will result in more sales for your business. Digital marketing is a strategy and social networks are tools within that strategy. I’ve found that to build the kind of digital marketing success you’re likely looking for it takes a human to operate those tools and understand and work through the process of a digital marketing strategy, and as the business owner, and expert on your business, the best human for the job is you. You don’t necessarily need every new shiny tool that comes along to be effective, but you do have to understand what will work for you within the resources you have available to offer the most efficiency and effectiveness. The development of that strategy through coaching is what GrowLoop can help you discover. Sincerely, Nick Ventuerlla founder of GrowLoop P.S.
