Not long ago I had the opportunity to work with Boston-based, award-winning songwriter, Anna Huckabee Tull to design a logo for her business, Custom Crafted Songs. Custom Crafted Songs offers custom written and professionally recorded songs for clients who want to commission a song that commemorates a special person, or moment in their life. This opportunity came via Keith Hampton of Standing Forward. (Thanks for the referral Keith!) I wanted to share some of my design process with you and the end result of Custom Crafted Songs new logo. First, I started with words that Anna used to describe her business and brand in the GrowLoop Client Info Form (that's the questionnaire that GrowLoop uses to gather necessary information to design a client's logo). Then I began creating a word association mind map.  Next, I began sketching ideas based on the word association mind map.  From the sketches, and based on the colors Anna suggested, I began to develop a few more refined concepts.  Anna mentioned that she pretty much instantly knew which logo was HER logo when she saw concept number 3. Here's where the Custom Crafted Logo ended up:  Finally, Anna had this nice testimonial to share:
