When it comes to e-commerce websites it’s important to understand the user experience -- how the site visitor will navigate your website and move through the customer journey your website lays out. The goal is to ultimately have your site visitors make a purchase from your website.
I recently came across Paper Street Soaps, an online retailer of handmade cold process soap and other organic body care products.
Besides the fact that all the products are made without harsh chemicals like other soaps and lotions, Paper Street Soaps has a very straight-forward, yet effective user experience on their e-commerce website.
I don’t say that lightly, as I’ve recently been working with several e-commerce clients who have extremely busy sites and far too many products or categories of products to allow for an intuitive user experience by site visitors seeking a simple online shopping experience.
The Paper Street Soaps site doesn’t feel too busy. It is easy to navigate and the product prices are extremely reasonable.
It’s easy to understand why customers seeking organic body care products would choose to purchase from Paper Street Soaps. Not only are the products of high quality, but the online shopping process and site navigation make it easy for site visitors to find what they need and make their purchase.
