There's a lot I like about the Burlington Pediatric Dentistry (www.mybpd.ca) website. First off, I think it cater's well to it's audience of kids, and more importantly, their parents.
I enjoy the colorful, personified tooth icons that help make up the dental practice's logo. It's playful and appealing to kid-like sensibilities.
I love the large images of happy, playful, smiling kids with toothbrushes. This communicates the essence of what this site and business are all about. Also, the wide, responsive website content frame is ideal for the site to display well on a tablet or smartphone.
As I navigate the site, I notice the blog utilizes a lot of video, which is great for the site's audience. The dentists are even acting rather silly in some of the videos to help showcase their kid-friendly bed-side manner.
The user experience has been taken into consideration well with the design of this site. One can easily make an appointment with the online form, or they can call in.
There are even great Preventative Care tips for parents to help them start good dental hygiene and positive habits at home. These Preventative Care tips must get asked a lot because this is a permanent fixture on the website, rather than a single blog post.
The site makes it easy to navigate and located the operating hours, specific dental services available and the actual team of dentists that make up this practice. There is even a photo tour of the very colorfully painted and designed office itself.
All in all, this site does a great job of communicating what the business is all about, who they serve and the images, messages and actions that can be taken on the site have all been carefully designed to make it easy for parents (and I get the sense it's primarily geared toward moms) to feel confident about choosing this dental practice for their kids.
